About the project

The interior design of the model house was based on a simple dichotomy - the ground floor was cool and modern with a predominance of concrete, white and gray to display paintings and applied art, while the warm, cozy floor was made mostly of spruce wood in the Zakopane style.

This mismatch between sophisticated design and folk art was to be connected by levitating stairs, faced with large-format tiles. The tiles imitating terrazzo were found on the floor in the entire ground floor part of the building. It was supposed to correspond with concrete ceilings, which were exposed by chipping plaster out of them.
